Dairy Specialist

Grand Valley Fortifiers is committed to incorporating innovative nutritional solutions into its products, programs and services to assist meat, milk and egg producers in realizing production and profitability goals while consumers enjoy safe, wholesome farm fresh food products for improved human health. Currently we are seeking a Dairy Specialist to help grow our market share in the Huron/Bruce/Grey counties as well as Eastern Ontario.

Our organization is looking for energetic, hard working individuals who love cows and enjoy working with Dairy Producers through problem solving and identifying opportunities to help them generate more profit. Our dairy specialists are driven, self motivated industry leaders and are responsible for setting up and developing their client base into long term partnerships.

Major Role & Responsibilities:

To provide sales and service support to dairy operations within the territory allocated
Sales growth and support of existing accounts
Ensure sales, nutrition and management issues are resolved quickly and effectively
To focus prospecting efforts by creating a target list of new prospects
To be willing and able to adopt new premixes, feeds, feed additives and services into the sales portfolio
To focus on selling branded, non-customized products to customer base
Contribute regularly to sales meetings
Assistance in collecting Accounts Receivables

Requirements:

Experience communicating with livestock producers
Understanding of meter mills, liquid feed systems, TMRs, etc.
Attendance and participation in Ontario dairy related trade shows, symposiums, seminars, open houses, etc.
To be competent in Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook
Travel within rural Ontario 5 days per week.
Valid driver’s license
